Head Lice


Just an annual reminder that now is the time of year that head lice are more likely to breed.

Although they are not a major health threat they are obviously a nuisance and can be passed from one person to another.

It would be useful if you could check your child's hair and treat if necessary.  This link will take you to the NHS more recent advice.

  • Results will be available for collection on: 24th August 2017 from 9.15am to 10.00am in the Assembly Hall.
  • If you wish any other person (including family members) to collect your results on your behalf, you must give them your written authorisation. You must NAME the person in the authorisation letter to the school. That person must then bring some form of identification with them to show the school before we release your results to them.

Hot Weather Statement

We appreciate that it has been very hot over the past few days and this has made the working environment for students and staff difficult. To try to ensure students and staff are as comfortable as possible the following adjustments have been made:

  • Students do not need to wear their jacket but they should have it in their bag.
  • Ties can be removed and not worn by students but please ensure that ties are brought to school each day and we will review the situation on a daily basis.

Bowled over by girls cricket

On Tuesday 9th May the under 13 and Under 15 Girls cricket teams played their first tournament of the season at St Lukes. The girls arrived excited and ready to show the other schools how its done. The U13 started the tournament taking on a more experienced Dawlish but showed that practice payed off taking a narrow victory by two runs. They then went onto play St Peters the most formidable of opposition and batted well giving the opposition a challenging total to beat. Yet again Tiverton came...

You will learn all the skills needed to put together a professional looking news report including interview technique, camerawork, scripting news sourcing, and editing.
