It is the aim of Tiverton High School to make the exam process as stress-free and successful for all students as possible.

Exam dates for the academic year 2017/18

November GCSE re-sits are:

  • From 1 to 8 November 2017 inclusive
  • Results will be available on Thursday 11 January 2018

Year 11 Mock Exams are:

  • From 3 to 9 January 2018 inclusive
  • Results will be available during the Mock Results Day Assembly on Wednesday 24 January at 9.00am in the Assembly Hall

All End of Year Exams (EoYE) which are to be conducted in a formal exam room setting will take place between the dates below. Exams taken in the classroom setting (mainly Years 7 and 8) are scheduled at the teacher’s discretion.

  • From 30 April to 4 May 2018 for Year 9
  • From 8 to 11 May 2018 for Year 10
  • From 11 to 15 June 2018 for Year 7
  • From 18 to 22 June 2018 for Year 8
  • Results will be supplied in the students’ end of year report

Summer 2018 GCSE exam dates are:

  • From 7 May to 21 June 2018 inclusive.
  • Results will be available to students on Thursday 23 August 2018 at 9.15am in the Assembly Hall.

    For parents often your only experience, and consequently understanding, of exams comes from your own time at school! In some respects, the process is the same as it ever was and in others, it might be remarkably different. Certainly both exams and exam delivery are undergoing major changes as you will be aware from the press and national news stories. This area of the site aims to provide you with as much information as possible to guide you, and your child/children, through the exam process and any changes affecting them.

    We use a range of methods to ensure that parents are kept fully informed of the exams process. Please ensure you familiarize yourself with the exams process and information provided in the exams section of the website.
