Travel to the school

Tiverton High school can be easily accessed via foot, bike, car or bus

Walking

Students can walk to school and access the site via the foot gates at the front and back of the site. Gates open from 7am and will close at 8.30 am when school starts.

Cycling

We have secure bike sheds at the school where all students can leave their bikes if travelling to school in this way. Please note that if your child is travelling to school on a bike it should be roadworthy, a helmet should be worn and it is your responsibility to ensure it is insured. The school cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage. Please note that bikes should not be ridden on the school grounds and therefore should be dismounted before entering the site and only mounted when leaving through the school gates.

Car

The school site is open for drop off and collection before 8.30 am and after 2.50 pm. The car park can get busy therefore we would suggest to parents who drop there children off to consider alternative areas near to the school to drop off and collect.

Bus

Students can travel to school via dedicated school transport or public buses. For information on school transport please make contact with the Devon Transport Team Students travelling on public or dedicated school transport, are expected to behave appropriately at all times. The school will take any complaints seriously where there are concerns about behaviour travelling to and from school.
