Tiverton High School is an innovative and successful school situated within easy reach of Exmoor and the North Devon coast. We are a co-operative trust school and have recently joined a formal Federation with Heathcoat Primary School and Rackenford C of E Primary School.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy PE department, working across year groups assisting with all aspects of the curriculum, including supporting at fixtures and extra-curricular groups and clubs.

You should ideally have a reasonable level of skill in at least two sports and some experience of working with groups.

You will work alongside experienced, qualified staff allowing for on and off the job training. You will gain experience as a PE Technician by learning and developing the necessary skills and experience to assist in the delivery of safe, high quality PE provision for young people, including (where appropriate) whole school programmes.

The term of the post is temporary for the duration of the Apprenticeship (12-18 months). The hours are 30 hours per week in school and 1 day attending the college course.

The preferred training provider is Exeter College.
