On Tuesday the U13 hockey team went to Blundells to compete in the County Hockey Tournament.
Despite the formidable line up of teams they went in determined to show what Tiverton High School girls are made of. We were the only State School entered. The first match was against St Peter’s prep school who were quick off the mark but our girls worked hard for one another and were pleased to have many shots on goal. We were unlucky not to score. We then went on to face Exeter School, Blundells, Plymouth College and The Kings School who were all very well drilled. We did ourselves proud only letting in a few goals throughout the day. The girls fought on never letting their heads go down. Well done girls- a tough day but we showed who we are and what we’re made of!
