U16 Netball team worked hard against St James

It was a fantastic game against St James in Exeter for our U16s.

As the game got underway, Tiverton passing and positioning was fairly equal to the opponents and our shooters, Rebecca K and Jess M were on form with some accurate shots.  Our early lead was overtaken by St James but we managed to stay close with some fine interception from Jess K and Victoria P, and so were 16-13 to St James at the end of the third quarter.  Our opponents increased the pressure in the final quarter.

Despite great determination by Tiverton, St James took back possession in the final ten minutes with increased confidence. In attack we needed to be more patient with the ball and cut out unforced errors as these mistakes gave our opponents the opportunity to net further goals, bringing the game to a close at 22-13 to St James.

Well done all!
