We have been in regular contact with our feeder colleges. Colleges will be expecting you to do some work before you attend college, hopefully in September so if you are set an assignment, please ensure you give it your best efforts.
Exeter College are asking their departments to set subject specific assignments as pre learning for any college courses starting in September. Some of you may have heard. You should be contacted over the next 2 months if you have not been contacted already.
‘Flying Start’ will be launching on Monday. Exeter College will send out the ‘Flying Start’ information via email to all students that currently hold an offer to study at the college in Sept 2020. They will also refer to these resources on their website and via social media. After May half term, they also plan to send out further pre-course activities to help students stay focused and motivated. We will share further details with you and links to work once we have these.
PETROC are currently working with their team about setting assignments. If you have applied to PETROC you will be contacted shortly; we are expecting this to happen in the next few weeks.
Bridgwater and Taunton: We will be hearing from BTC shortly.
Huish: Please keep checking their website. They are hoping to post work, assignments and other information over the next few days.
Bicton will shortly be providing some curriculum-focused material for us to share with students who are joining them in September. This may be links to Social Media or short 60 second lessons for you to have a go at!
