Our year 11 design students literally made a show of themselves yesterday [Tuesday] with an exhibition to showcase their work.
The students have been working across a wide range of subjects including food nutrition and preparation, resistant materials, art, photography and graphic communications. Their exhibits featured media including 2D and 3D drawings and paintings, sculpture and ceramics.
Rae Own, Head of Design in the school’s design department said: “Year 11 students have demonstrated a high level of creativity in their work this year. Design comes in many forms, and the exhibition has been an opportunity for the public, friends and family to see their work.
“The reaction has been fantastic, if not daunting for the students to have their work viewed by so many people.”
