Evie H continued her rise through the ranks in both swimming and cross country at the weekend.
Firstly she competed in the Devon Cross Country championships at Exeter Arena on Saturday morning against the finest runners in the county. Despite perhaps not her best performance on challenging terrain, due to her excellent previous displays she earned herself a spot on the Devon squad to race at Bristol in the regional round.
If that wasn’t enough, straight after the race she headed to Plymouth to compete in the Devon County Swimming Championships and finished in the top 10 of the county for 50m Backstroke before qualifying for the final of the 200m Backstroke and finishing 6th. A really busy weekend and I am sure one she will not forget.
