Dear parents/carers,
New Deputy Head joining THS
I am delighted to inform you that from September 2023 Reg Gilbert will be joining the senior leadership team as Deputy Head Quality of Education.
Many of you will know Reg as the current Head teacher at Wilcombe Primary School. Reg will be joining the THS at an exciting time in the development of the school and will work closely with myself, Fay Crellen, Deputy Head for Inclusion as well as the rest of the team focusing on school improvement and widening opportunities for our young people.
Reg comes with a wealth of leadership experience which he will apply to our setting and is committed to supporting students and staff alike, whilst also working closely with parents. We will be using the summer term to develop plans to ensure that Reg is fully immersed in school life from his first official day in September.
I am sure if you see him in the community, you will wish him all the very best in this new venture for him.
