Sandy Park tour for our More Able and Talented PE students

This afternoon Mr Heeney took some of our finest athletes down to Sandy Park for a tour. Here they got an up close and personal insight into what it takes to reach the elite level, and how the fine margins make a big difference with regards to preparation, performance and recovery.

Highlights included experiencing the ice pool, the gym and changing room as well as watching the women’s team prepare for their cup semi final this weekend. All involved represented the school in a positive light with their engagement and enthusiasm. We look forward to more inspiring trips like this in the future.
