An absolute thriller of a football match saw our U13 boys football team progress to the next round of the national cup after beating Westfield Academy on penalties. The game was end to end throughout and despite the better of the early exchanges with excellent goals from Matthew S, Jack N and Harry R. Westfield showed their quality meaning only penalties could separate the two teams with a 3-3 score line at full time.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man – Rylie T will go down in THS folklore after going in goal following an injury to Oliver M very early in the match. Rylie went on to make a string of saves in normal time plus a match winning save in penalties.
As always the team were a credit to THS and most definitely done us PROUD.
