I recently had the pleasure of taking a group of ten Young Carers to visit The Wall in the Hall in Tiverton, as part of their Young Carer Club reward. The youngsters, from mixed year groups (Year 9 – Year 11) were absolutely amazing.
They took on the challenge and before long, were climbing up the highest wall at the speed of light!
Resilience and determination were in abundance but what shone through was their kindness towards each other and the encouragement that they each gave to one another. We will be taking another group to the hall in the new year and hope to plan some more exciting activities for our Young Carers – don’t forget, we meet every Tuesday breaktime in room 86C.
