On Wednesday we travelled to Clyst Vale for a well-organised badminton tournament. Taking 4 teams along, the action came thick and fast.
Our KS3 Boys A team kicked us off with a confident display to beat Clyst Vale A 4 legs to 1. Noah P was in fine form to win his singles match and set the tone.
Our KS4 Girls team overcame early nerves to show their skill and teamwork. Beth M and Keira B showed great chemistry to remain unbeaten for the duration of the tournament.
The KS4 Boys team found the going a little tougher against very good opposition. Charlie C showed excellent desire and resilience in his singles game to run his opponent close.
Our KS3 B team showed excellent determination, as they were a player down on the day. Henry T pulled an excellent shift doubling up to fill the gap.
