Celebrating in a sea of silver!
The Netball Somerset League season came to an end yesterday with a tournament in Taunton. 31 very excited and competitive students faced a day of tough matches against some very skilled teams.
The weather threw all four seasons at us but we showed great fortitude and resilience throughout the day. We returned home in a sea of silver….year 7A, year 7B and year 8 all came second and year 9 a third place (unfortunately no medals for third place teams).
Well done to everyone who has played this year and thank you to Mrs Bennett and Mrs Hoskin for their excellent coaching and dedication to making this such a popular and successful sport at THS.
