Head Boy and Head Girl speak at Tiverton Town Council meeting

This week Noah and Phoebe our Head Boy and Head Girl spoke to members of Tiverton Town Council giving an update on what has been happening at THS since they last attended the meeting. They attend meetings each term along with representatives from Blundell’s School providing the council with an insight into both schools as well as their collaborative projects.

Item such as the reintroduction of in-person Parent’s Evening, social media, previous students returning to speak to current students and ideas for a joint litter picking project were shared with town councillors. Other items included the new school menu, the introduction of parental surveys and thanking those who attended the carol concert in December.

In addition, the council shared with students that they have invited PETROC to their next meeting to respond to questions following a visit to their recent Open Evening (in the last meeting Noah had spoken about the Post 16 provision in Tiverton). Tiverton Town Council have also expressed their willingness to be involved in the litter picking activity THS and Blundell’s School have been collaborating on.
