Mixed results for U12s and U16s in netball against West Exe

The Year 7 netballers took immediate control at the start of the game against West Exe.  There was great defence and interception from Ruby and Imogen which gave our attackers repeated opportunity to move down the court.  Shooters Ava L and Ola O were on form again with some brilliant shooting and we once again dominated at the attacking end to win the game 11-5 to Tiverton!

Fantastic play by all!

U12 Team: Ola O/Zaiya W/Ava L/Ruby H/Paige C/Imogen K/Daisy W/Shyleen M/Kady P

The U16 team also took to the court against West Exe and were well matched in the first quarter.  Our defence fought hard but the opposition played some sound netball and took the lead by three goals early on.  Tiverton intercepted a number of balls giving our shooters,  Amelia F and Rebecca K, an opportunity to pull back, but West Exe dominated through their shooting accuracy in the second and third quarters with a score of 14-7 at this point.  Tiverton responded with determination and there were moments of fine passing down the court, but the leading score for West Exe gave them the confidence to dominate in the last quarter and the game closed at 21-10 to West Exe.  A frustrating defeat for Tiverton but great effort by all.
