THS students win local Rotary district creative writing heats

Two THS students Samuel (year 11) and Heidi (year 7) entered a creative writing competition organised by The Rotary Club, on the theme of ‘Rebuilding’ and have gone on to be chosen as the winners in their respective categories in the local Rotary district heats. They were each awarded a certificate and Amazon gift voucher as a prize. A representative from the local Rotary club awarded Samuel and Heidi their certificate and prize this week.

What happens next? Their work will be entered into the District Finals these are organised by each Rotary district for the winners of the local heats for each age group. The winners of each age group in the district Finals are then entered into the National Final which is organised by Rotary GB&I.

We wish both students the very best of luck in the next round and look forward to hearing the outcome.
