U13 girls bow out in EFL semi-final

In yesterday’s EFL Girls Cup, Tiverton High School’s under 13 girls football team showcased remarkable determination and skill.

Esmee B, Olivia W, and Kayra P delivered strong performances, while Macie S and Hannah S demonstrated scoring prowess, securing 3 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses in the group stage.

In the quarter-final, a composed and committed effort led to a 2-0 victory over Teignmouth. Lucy G and Ella-Mai R anchored the defence, providing debutant Hollie A the confidence to play freely. Goalkeeper Lily B’s outstanding triple save and resilience were key highlights. Despite a valiant effort, the girls faced a 2-0 defeat against Exmouth in the semi-final. Congratulations to the entire team for a fabulous performance. Well done, girls!
