U15 County Cricket Qualifiers

Mr Puzey had the pleasure of accompanying a group of young cricketers to St Peters for county qualifiers on Thursday 25th January.

With 7 playing up a year and 1 playing up 2 years, gaining experience was the aim of the game.
This objective changed, however, after an incredibly successful first game against ISCA. An outstanding all round performance from Miles C with bowling figures of 4-10 and hitting a matching winning 27 not out.
This raised the competitiveness and expectations of the group going into a winner takes all game vs St Peters.
After a solid opening few overs with the bat, it looked like we were on track to set a challenging target, however some excellent death bowling from St Peters resulted in 11 dot balls in a row, including a hattrick, before Bernie hit a 6 off the last ball.
After a tense and considered run chase, St Peters ran out victors with 2 overs to spare.

The team included: Louis B, Bernie McA, Miles C, Ollie R, Olly J, Jack McM, Basti F, George C
