A fabulous 15-9 win for our year 8 netballers at Cullompton Community College this week.
After a slightly frantic start in the first quarter THS quickly settled into the game and were soon turning back the 2-1 lead CCC put in initially.
Some strong defence from Immy K and Maya G, turning over the ball on a number of occasions, meant our attackers, Ruby H and Phoebe B, could implement great passing and movement to set up some accurate shooting from Ola O and Ava L.
This brought us to a 9-5 lead by half time and from there, the THS confidence grew! We became tighter defensively with some great interceptions and our attack ever more reliably consistent.
CCC fought back with great determination but couldn’t close the widening gap THS had created and our excellent game play led us to a 15-9 victory!
A huge well done team – solid performances!
