Dedication, determination and talent from our year 7 rugby players

Some on our Year 7 aspiring rugby players attended a rugby development day on Friday run by the RFU and Exeter Chiefs Community Team.  The morning session saw the Year 7 girls diligently refining their rugby abilities, with a focus on crucial skills like catching high balls, kicking, rucking, decision-making, passing, and tackling. Their dedication to improvement was evident as they absorbed coaching guidance and practiced these techniques with determination.

In the afternoon, the girls seamlessly translated their enhanced skills into action, showcasing their athleticism and competitive spirit on the field. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular, reflecting both their individual talent and the collective strength of the team. As ambassadors of Tiverton High School, each student exemplified excellence, earning praise for their outstanding conduct and skillful play throughout the day. Well done to Emma G, Bea W, Ava F, Hollie L Faye RT, Dasiy-Mai S, Matilda L, Molly M, Jessica V, Paige S, Amelia T & Phoebe C
